The crime film is set to be directed by director Dennis Villeneuve and starring Jack Gyllenhaal. Based on the crime novel "The Son" by Norwegian author J. Nesbot, the film follows the revenge of a gifted wrestler (Jack Gyllenhaal) for discovering the truth about his father's accidental death 12 years ago. This is Dennis and Jack Gyllenhaal's third collaboration since Old Enemy and Prisoner.
