Ten years have passed in a blink of an eye, and the war between the Earthlings and the Zerg is raging and intensifying. One day, Air Force Marshal Omar Arnock (played by Stephen Hogan) visited the distant farm of the Earthlings at Mount Roku for inspection, and then Colonel Johnny Rick (played by Gaspar Van Dien Casper Van Dien) also came along. During this period, Arnold's mind was manipulated by the Worm King, who cut off the power to the quarantine area, completely depriving the base of protection. At night, the Zerg launched a total attack on the isolation zone. Although the Earth Army resisted stubbornly, they were ultimately defeated due to being outnumbered, and the base fell. Arnold fled with a group of confidants and the spacecraft made an emergency landing on the OM-1 planet.

Rick was sentenced to hang by military court for dereliction of duty and was rescued by government secret agencies during the execution. Arnold knows the secret of the location of the federal fleet base, and it would be unimaginable if the Zerg found out. Therefore, senior government officials demanded that Rick bring a team of people to rescue the trapped Arnold
